Sarah and I hadn't been in Topeka even two hours when Sarah made little A cry. I was looking at Wemily's xanga site and stepped away to check my pies in the oven when A sat down at the puter and started reading Wemily's xanga site. Sarah told her she shouldn't be looking at it. A got mad and left cyring. Then mom got upset and started questioning me as to why A couldn't read Wemil'y site. I went to explain to A about it, but she was in the shower. While I was waiting to talk to A, I tried to explain to mom about how Wemily allows certain people to view her xanga and that some stuff in it is personal/private. I did talk to A and she seemed to understand. The conversation continued upstairs-and then dad joined in. Before I knew it, it had turned into a two hour family therapy session, where we all discussed various things-being accepted by others, finding friends, dealing with people we don't like. This stemmed from A's deep desire to have friends. I feel sorry for her and wish I could help. She gets so lonely hanging out with only mom and dad. She'll be 18 before we know it. I wish I could help find her some people who could hang out with her on the weekends. I know she'll be working part time next semester hopefully, so maybe she can learn from some real world experience. And hopfully when she starts going to college she can meet new people and make friends.
And then on Thanksgiving, Dad was in some hurry to eat after being in the garden all morning. He put the pressure on to start eating when all the food wasn't done. I was a bit annoyed. So-that was the crazy Thanksgiving.
