The changing of the Rooms

Last weekend, Sarah decided that she wanted to switch bedrooms. Hey-I was getting a good deal. The master bedroom and bath.
The move commenced on a Saturday and by Sunday night at midnight all of the major items were moved.
The oddity is that I have my room almost exactly laid out as it was in the 1st apartment that Sarah and I lived in when we moved to OP.
I then began to wonder if the bad luck that followed me in that 1st apartment would now commence to fall upon me as I had recreated my old bedroom. I am holding my breath..but not for long.
The switching of rooms allowed me an opportunity to get rid of some stuff that I don't need anymore. I took the opportunity and began to go through my tubes. One tub had a lot of notes that were passed to me in middle school and high school. It has been entertaining to read about what was stressing me out, who I was gossiping about, who I had crushes on, etc. I even came upon some notes written by one of my guy friends who had a crush on saree waree at the time. He was so embarrassed to be talking to me about my sister. Then I found a candy gram sent to me from Sarah while we were at TWHS. And in it, saree waree talks about the guy she had a crush on. It sure brought back memories. In the candy gram, saree waree told me to get involved in theater cuz it was alot of fun. Now I wish I had been more involved in TWHS theater. I only helped out with "Fiddler" and then we moved to WRHS.
It is good to take a stroll down memory lane into your middle and high school days in your mind. However, I wouldn't want to actually go back in time to those days. As awkward and painful those years were, they are necessary to go through. They helped to mold me. It is good to be reminded of the "growing up" years.

I love going through old notes and papers and journals. I hope good luck surrounds you in your new room.

Yay for Becky writing on her blog again! It is fun going through old papers and journals and things left over from highschool. But I totally agree, I would never want to go back. So why did Sarah want to switch rooms?
