Daniel was injured in an accident today. He is in the ICU and will have surgery today. Please keep your thoughts and prayers with him.

So you wanna be a new year? You wanna be 2008? Well..go ahead! See if I care!
Yes it is 2008..isn't it great? Okay, that was a bad rhyme, but I had to give it try.(ha ha gotcha again)
Yes..it is a new year. I am training for a new/old job. It is new because I am actually going to be paid for work I was doing at my old job. And while I am being trained to do a new job, I am also doing my old job on top of that, which means I would need a combined salary of my new job and old job, which means I should be making about a KaZillion dollars per hour.
But...I am not.
I have started to read "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", which is very random and silly. I am not too sure it is good for me to be reading this book because I am already a random and silly person-this is why my blog is called Ramblings of a Random redhead....go figure!
I am afraid that if I read this book and whole series, then I will become completely random and silly and eventually lose my mind. But..I will make sure to have a fish and a towel with me when I do go insane, that way I can be prepared for anything AND I will be able to interpret things that sane people say to me.




It appears that this once little diaper-wearing Wemily has now moved herself to the Netherlands...or as the Dutch say.. the Nederlands. Neder to be heard from again!
Yes, little Wemily has grown up, graduated from college and escaped from Kansas. Hooray! She has followed in my footsteps to travel around the globe in search of better men, better chocolate, and better clothing, which can only be found at H&M.
I envy her, but I don't envy the rooster and chickens who wake her up in the morning.
